CREATIVE PROJECTS
These are projects that I produced & edited. A hired videographer and/or photographer was involved to create the highest quality base media to complete these concepts or designs. Utilizing a team, makes the highest level of creative content come to life.
THE CALIFORNIA SIGN
This was a project to announce a a territory expansion into the State of California. With one of the most iconic things in CA being the Hollywood sign -it was a great way to send the message and style of the new footprint. Tony Carroll (pro Wakeboarder) being a native of CA it was even more fitting to have him doing a trick over the sign tying in the industry aspect. I had a giant California sign made at a local print shop and we constructed a stand for each letter. Loaded up a few boats with the materials and constructed the sign on a tiny island in a remote rock quarry lake near Tampa Fl. This is a controlled environment for these shoots and the background picturesque. Tony had to do 12-15 passes until the timing lined up JUST right to get the shot. He was completely spent of energy and gave it one last final attempt which nailed the shot. It was an amazing team effort and very cool project. Results met the expectation of the dream! BY THE ANCHOR
This is one of my most complicated projects that I am most proud of.
I wanted to recreate some underwater vintage photos from the 50s a photographer took in the Florida Springs. Aiming for a modern touch and watersports vibe however! The oringal plan was to photograph in the Blue springs in Central FL but it was too hard to obtain a commercial permit with all the props we had. I rented an Olympic size pool and we did the main shoot there. We also took the background shots in blue springs and simply combined the two photos. Each shot took me about 4-5 hours each to edit. The result was better than I imagined!

NEON NIGHT SURFING
This was a big scale project requiring multiple boats and a large crew. The project was put together on 3 different occasions to attempt to grow the style of content. Each project produced a separate set of really stunning images that have never been seen before. A team of incredible humans worked late into the night on all occasions and in pretty cold temps at times.
I will never forget Sam (athlete) trying to stay warm in the engine compartment of boat between takes.
Such a group of amazing humans made these possible.
This footage and imagery will always be iconic to me.
